About Wen Dixon-Whiley

Wen is an Illustrator and Visual Artist from South Australia. In her freelance practice she has worked with a diverse range of businesses in industries ranging from craft brewing and hospitality through to government and the health sector.

With a Bachelor of Illustration Design and Master of Visual Art and Creative Practice (and a Diploma of Creative Arts in Health underway), Wen has participated in multiple group and solo exhibitions and works from her studio at the Hahndorf Academy in the Adelaide Hills. Growing up in distinctly ‘non-arty’ rural South Australia, she nurtured her creative streak on a steady diet of Saturday morning cartoons and comic books in between socialising with farm animals and daydreaming. This has given her work a distinct ‘low brow’ aesthetic and bizarre internal world that she gladly leans in to.
